Charity of the month: Polis Pound Dog Rescue

Country: Cyprus
The Polis Pound works tirelessly to provide shelter and vet care for abandoned dogs in Cyprus. The ultimate goal is to find homes for these amazing animals. After hunting season, many dogs are abandoned by their owners and then found in very bad conditions. The foundation takes care of the dogs and prepares them to be rehomed in Cyprus and abroad. Currently taking care of over 30 dogs, they place on average 10 dogs per month in homes. They just sent 7 dogs to the UK and 3 to Germany! Everything is done by amazing volunteers who do everything in their power to take care of the dogs. They are looking to provide 4 new lofts in the shelter, a large part with permanent roofing and all the veterinarian care needed. 
We are pleased to be able to support the Polis Pound foundation!
The result of the collection will be announced during our Founders Q&A Meeting which occurs every first Monday of the month.
